Merriman Anderson Architects welcomes director of strategy and development

Amanda Hendrick

Merriman Anderson Architects (MAA) is proud to introduce Amanda Hendrick as the firm’s director of strategy and development.

Hendrick joins the MAA leadership team as an associate principal, bringing 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. As a seasoned business development leader, she is a highly-connected, relationship-focused cultivator skilled in identifying and spearheading long term strategic initiatives to drive healthy market growth. Her values-centered leadership helps bridge the right creative talent, people and resources to support clients in achieving their vision.

In Hendrick’s previous role as a vice president and business development director at Corgan, she led the firm’s strategic partnerships both nationally and locally, building brand recognition for the commercial market sector through concentrated industry and community engagement.

Recognizing the need to stay ahead of shifting sustainability goals and technology disruptors, Hendrick will be focused on keeping MAA at the forefront of the commercial real estate industry, effectively evaluating market trends, running competitive analyses and solidifying business opportunities. With an eye locked on the future and a personal mandate to always stay present with her colleagues, Hendrick aims to expand the firm’s established history of integrity and responsibility. Together, the team will evolve as a unified, agile collective that remains responsive to the clients and communities they serve, particularly in times of change.

Hendrick brings with her a B.A. in business administration from The University of Texas at Arlington, a rich history of culture development and entrepreneurship, and is poised to help the MAA team continue successfully shaping projects of all types including master planned communities, mix-use developments, and historic restorations; as well as multifamily, office, hospitality, retail, education and industrial projects throughout the United States and internationally.
