Avison Young announced the hiring of Michael Tenuta as a vice president in the firm’s project management practice in Chicago.
He will assist with the firm’s expanding project management practice in Chicago and across the U.S.
He joins a growing construction and development team in Chicago, where the Toronto-based firm recently acquired Mesa Development, respected multi-family developers known best for downtown high-rise developments Legacy at Millennium Park and Heritage at Millennium Park.
Tenuta has more than 35 years of development, design and project management experience working for both brokerage and construction companies. Prior to joining the Avison Young, he was a director and senior project manager for Cushman & Wakefield, where he managed major corporate office and industrial projects.
He is a member of Rotary International and was a finalist for Project Manager of the Year at the Greater Chicago Food Depository Commercial Real Estate Awards in 2016. He is LEED AP-certified.
