Michigan’s Bloomfield Capital adds to investment team

Birmingham, Michigan-based lender Bloomfield Capital expanded its investment team with the addition Nevan Shokar as an associate.

Shokar will be based in the firm’s Birmingham office and will play a role in sourcing, underwriting and executing new investment opportunities.

Shokar joins Bloomfield from Miller Capital Advisory, where he was involved with placing investments for the largest pension fund in the country, most notably the acquisition of Miracle Mile Shops in Las Vegas. He previously worked on the investment team at Welltower, where he acquired, developed, managed and repositioned more than $700 million of senior-living assets.
