Friedman Real Estate has added Jonathan Zacharias as chief operations officer. Zacharias will be based out of the Farmington Hills headquarters in Michigan.
In the role of chief operating officer, Zacharias will work with the leaders of Friedman’s operating business to assist them with developing long-term growth plans for their units and to ensure that they have appropriate people, resources, systems, and policies in place to enable the orderly growth of those units.
Zacharias has held a variety of leadership roles in operations and strategy over nearly 20 years across real estate, hospitality, retail, and management consulting. He has specialized in developing high-performing teams and leading impactful operational improvement initiatives for established businesses.
Zacharias holds an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University.
