Michigan’s Honigman names partner in real estate department

Nicholas Winters

Nick Winters has joined Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based law firm Honigman as a partner in its Real Estate Department.

Winters supports his clients in real estate matters in various industries, with significant experience in leasing, telecommunications, electric vehicles and the resolution of complex title and survey issues. He focuses on developing long-term relationships with his clients so that he can understand, protect and advance their priorities.

Winters understands that not all clients’ priorities are identical and that each client has its own specific objectives and tolerances for risks in a transaction. He strives to avoid “cookie cutter” and “one-size-fits-all” approaches to representing his clients and negotiating agreements on their behalf, understanding that it is important to communicate with and carefully listen to his clients in order to determine what is most important to them.

Winters joins Honigman from Dykema, where he served as Senior Counsel in its Real Estate and Commercial Leasing Practice. He earned his J.D. from Wayne State University in 2006 and his B.A. from Bob Jones University in 2003.
