Michigan’s Old National Bank makes two key promotions

Kalamazoo, Michigan-based Old National Bank has promoted two veteran bankers to its market leadership team.

Jim Barnum, Kalamazoo market president, will direct the Old National community and associate engagement strategy for the Kalamazoo area. He is also leading the commercial banking team for the entire Northeast market, which includes the state of Michigan and the aeras of South Bend and Fort wayne, Indiana.

Barnum joined Old National in 2013 and has more than 30 years of commercial banking experience. He has been active in the community, volunteering and serving on various boards, including the United Way Finance Committee and formerly chairing Community Investment, Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership and the Haworth College of Business Advisory Council.

Nathan Bolton has been named community banking market manager, a vice president position. Bolton has been part of the Old National Banking team since 2002. He has 35 years of experience in banking.

Bolton has served on the board of Big Brothers, Big Sisters for 20 years, is the chairman of that group’s annual Bowl for Kid’s Sake event and was board president in 2004. He is the current president of Ministry with Community.
