Southfield, Michigan, commercial real estate firm P.A. Commercial has promoted Matt Schiffman as its new chief executive officer/managing member following his 11-year tenure at the firm. Schiffman succeeds Peter Ventura, who co-founded the company in 2008 with David Plumley, the firm’s current chief financial officer.
Since joining the firm in 2011, Schiffman has been recognized as a leader in his ability to mentor new team members, implement new processes and in his knowledge of virtually every aspect of commercial real estate. Over the span of his career, he has been a top producer in office transactions and was awarded the CoStar Power Broker Award several times for his work in this typology.
In 2020, Schiffman was promoted to Director of Broker Development, where he was instrumental in expanding the brokerage team 25% to become a major player in the industry.
In his new role, Schiffman will further guide the company’s financial and cultural growth and will concentrate on further expanding the breadth and depth of services offered to clients.
