Michigan’s SF Capital adds VP of loan origination

Farmington Hills, Michigan’s SF Capital, the commercial mortgage banking subsidiary of Friedman Real Estate, has added Aaron Stempel as vice president of loan origination.

In his new role, Stempel will be tasked with sourcing financing transactions across the entire capital stack, encompassing both equity and debt placement, including refinancing, acquisitions, construction, and bridge opportunities.

Stempel brings more than 10 years of CRE financing experience to SF Capital, predominantly focused on multifamily financing. He has successfully placed nearly $1 billion of commercial mortgage transactions, including fixed and floating rate loans through Agency, Bridge, Banks, Credit Unions, Debt Funds, CMBS, HUD, pension funds, and life insurance companies. He is well versed in many property types, including retail, office, apartments, industrial, owner-occupied, and hospitality, through structuring deals for permanent, acquisition, or construction financing.
