Kevin McGrogan has joined Pontiac, Michigan-based Lee Industrial Contracting as chief operations officer.
In this newly created role, McGrogan will oversee the operations and skilled trades teams, while supporting a culture of safety and working to attract and grow talent. McGrogan will play an important role in enhancing the execution of project delivery, while continuing to deliver those projects on schedule and on budget.
McGrogan joins Lee with nearly 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Immediately prior to joining Lee, McGrogan served as plant manager at BorgWarner, where he was promoted several times during the last 11 years.
Prior to BorgWarner, McGrogan spent nearly eight years in progressive leadership roles at American Axle & Manufacturing. He has also served as a Lee Contracting Board Member since 2016, a position from which he resigned in the first quarter of 2022.
McGrogan holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Stony Brook University in New York, a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buffalo in New York and a Master of Business Administration from Walsh College.
