Oakbrook Terrace-based Mid-America Asset Management Inc. has signed five retailers at Naperville Crossings in Naperville, totaling nearly 9,400 square feet of space. In addition, three retailers have recently renewed at the center totaling 4,200 square feet.
Privately held Tide Dry Cleaners leased 3,260 square feet with plans to open a drive-thru dry cleaning service in the first quarter of 2013, becoming the first location in Illinois. Tide Dry Cleaners is a franchise offered by Agile Pursuits Franchising Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati-based Proctor & Gamble Co.
International frozen yogurt chain TCBY leased 1,833 square feet of space. According to the company’s website, about 14 TCBY shops are currently located in Illinois, with more than 600 open across the country. Salt Lake City-based TCBY is a sister company to Mrs. Fields Famous Brands. TCBY and Tide will occupy space in a two-tenant building, which is scheduled to be delivered in October 2012.
Privately held independent restaurant Paris Bistro signed a lease for 1,600 square feet, assuming space formerly occupied by The Corner Shoppe. The bistro specializes in crepes and plans to open in June 2012.
Go Green Baby Company signed a lease for 1,500 square feet and opened Go Green Baby! in May. The store offers organic and green/eco-friendly apparel for babies and kids, with an emphasis on sustainability and living green.
WineStyles signed a new five-year lease at Naperville Crossings, occupying 1,200 square feet of space. The new franchisee purchased the rights to both the Naperville and Shorewood markets. According to the website for Florida-based WineStyles Inc., the national wine boutique and retailer lists 10 locations in the Chicago area and 60 across the United States. Each WineStyles franchise is locally owned and operated.
Renewing their leases were Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for 1,000 square feet of space, Elegance Underneath for 1,400 square feet and California Closets for 1,800 square feet.
The 104,152-square-foot Naperville Crossings center is located on the northwest corner of Route 59 and 95th Street in Naperville. The16-Screen AMC Stadium Theater anchors the center, with other tenants including Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano, Panera Bread, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Taco Fresco, Color Me Mine, Massage Envy and Kidsnips. The center is additionally situated across the street from Jewel-Osco and Dominick’s.
Mid-America Vice President Barb Kading and Senior Leasing Representative Jaime Platt were the exclusive representatives of the landlord in all of the transactions listed.
