Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s investment sales group recently brokered the sale of Prairie Crossings Shopping Center, located at the “main and main” intersection along the Lincoln Highway retail corridor in the strong Frankfort/Mokena subregional market. The 109,079-square-foot center was sold to First-Tek, Incorporated.
Prairie Crossings Shopping Center consists of two multi-tenant pads featuring highly desirable uses including restaurants, fitness, services, and convenient care medical. Some key tenants include Chipotle, Panera, Hair Cuttery, Massage Envy, Botti Chiropractic, and Sloan Stevens Salon. The shopping center anchors the retail corridor of Lincoln Highway, which serves the surrounding affluent neighborhoods. The Frankfort/Mokena area is a very affluent area with a population of 97,900 residents and average household income of $152,900 within a five-mile radius of the property.
Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principals Rick Drogosz, Ben Wineman and Joe Girardi were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of IRC Retail Centers/DRA Advisors. The property was managed by Pine Tree.
