Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group recently brokered the sale of Downers Park Plaza, a 94% leased grocery anchored shopping center located in the west suburban Chicago community of Downers Grove.
The 124,005-square-foot center was sold to Detroit-based Broder & Sachse Real Estate.
Downers Park Plaza is anchored by Shop & Save Market, a privately owned independent grocery chain, along with Dollar Tree, Phenix Salon Suites, Super CDA, Quilters Quest, CosmoProf, AAA, and Hallmark, among others. The center is shadow-anchored by national retailers including TJ Maxx/HomeGoods, Best Buy, and Old Navy. The center is situated at the northeast corner of 75th Street and Lemont Road, and serves the affluent DuPage County suburbs of Downers Grove, Darien, Westmont, and Woodridge.
Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principal Ben Wineman and Vice President Emily Gadomski were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of PMAT.
