Mid-America Real Estate Corp. promotes Katie Killeen to vice president

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation has promoted Katie Killeen to vice president. As vice president, Killeen will assist in lease negotiations, conduct site surveys, pitch prospective clients, among various other tenant representation and consulting work. She brings considerable market and client knowledge to this role, both locally and nationally.

Killeen joined Mid-America in 2014 as an associate with the tenant representation team under the leadership of Willie Hoag and Jeff Kuchman. From 2014 to 2016, Killeen was an integral part of the Sleepy’s rollout, negotiating leases for 110 locations. She actively represents Sola Salons, ATI Physical Therapy, F45, Veterinary Emergency Group, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Nordstrom Rack, Brown Bag Seafood, Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Aspen Dental, WellNow Urgent Care and Oak Street Health.

“From day one, Katie has been unflappable and relentless in her service to our clients,” said principal Willie Hoag. “She has become a uniquely humble leader within Mid-America, and I rely on her charisma as much as her curiosity to innovate our tenant representation team.”

Killeen is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), ChainLinks National Affiliation of Retail Brokers, ICSC Chicago Next Generation Committee and she is part of the Women in Retail Leasing Association (WIRL). A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Katie graduated with a bachelor of arts in communications.
