Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group brokered the sale of Fairlane North Shopping Center in Dearborn, Michigan, a 151,121-square-foot community center featuring a mix of national and regional specialty retailers.
Dabaja Brothers Development Group, a Detroit area-based company, has acquired Fairlane North located at Ford Road and Mercury Drive in Dearborn. The property will be rebranded as Dabaja Fairlane North Properties, marking a new chapter for the center under local ownership.
Fairlane North is positioned at the highly trafficked intersection of Southfield Freeway (M-39) and Ford Road in the dense infill Detroit area suburbs of Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Allen Park, and the west side of the City of Detroit. The center is 100% leased to Value City Furniture, Crunch Fitness, Forman Mills, Happy’s Outlet, Verizon, and shadow anchored by Walmart, The Home Depot, and Launch Family Entertainment.
This transaction represents the final component in the disposition of Fairlane North, as Mid-America previously represented the seller in the successful sales of the Home Depot and Launch parcels.
Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principal Ben Wineman and Associate Eric Geskermann, in cooperation with Mid-America Real Estate – Michigan, LLC Principals Daniel Stern and Tony Schmitt, were the exclusive listing brokers on behalf of the seller, a private investment group. Ali T. Charara of Century 21 Curran & Oberski represented the Buyer.
