Mid-America Real Estate Corp.’s Investment Sales Group recently brokered the sale of Danada Square East, a 202,036-square-foot grocery anchored shopping center located in the Chicago suburb of Wheaton.
Newport Capital Partners on behalf of Newport Capital Fund I purchased the property for $31.6 million from CBRE Global Investors.
Danada Square East is situated at the northeast corner of Butterfield Road and Naperville Road, a high-traffic intersection in Wheaton, one of the sub-regional retail markets in Chicago’s western suburbs. The center is anchored by Dominick’s, with additional key tenants including Petco, MC Sports, Bedding Experts and Blick Art Materials.
Ben Wineman and Stan Nitzberg, principals of Mid-America Real Estate Corp., exclusively represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer was self-represented.
