Mid-America Asset Management Inc. recently secured new retail leases on behalf of three shopping centers in Chicago’s northwest suburbs. Highlighted transactions are listed below in order of transaction size.
Elmwood Park, Ill. (Cook County) – Fruitful Yield signed a lease for 6,630 square feet at North Tower Plaza at the northwest corner of Harlem and North Avenues in Elmwood Park, Ill. The 26,088-square-foot center features tenants including Super Cuts, Great American Bagel, and Subway. Mid-America Vice President Liz Krebs and Leasing Representative Samantha Spinell represented the landlord. Jason Trombley of JLL represented the tenant.
Hoffman Estates, Ill. (Cook County) – Maurices signed a 4,980-square-foot lease at Poplar Creek Crossing located at the southwest corner of Route 59 and Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates, Ill. The 450,000-square-foot center is anchored by Target, TJ Maxx, and Cost Plus World Market. Mid-America Principal/Vice President Marget Graham and Vice President Katie Hennegan represented the landlord. Jim Sakanich of CBRE represented the tenant.
Bloomingdale, Ill. (DuPage County) – Taj Mahal Restaurant signed a lease for 4,000 square feet at Bloomingdale Square at the southeast corner of Army Trail and Gary Avenue. The 76,601-square-foot center is anchored by Michaels, Pier 1 Imports, Pearl Vision, and The Avenue Plus. Mid-America Vice President Liz Krebs and Leasing Representative Paige Winkels represented the landlord. The tenant was self-represented.
