Chicago (Cook County) – Ross Dress for Less signed a lease for 24,457 square feet at Howard and Western Shopping Center located at the southwest corner of Howard Street and Western Avenue in Chicago. The 89,129-square-foot center is anchored by Walgreens. Ross is expected to open in fall 2015. Mid-America Leasing Representatives Maria Rossobillo and Paige Schiesser represented the landlord. Dan Tausk of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation represented the tenant.
Glenview, Ill. (Cook County) – Orange Theory Fitness signed a lease for 2,831 square feet at Carillon Square at the northwest corner of Waukegan Road and Lake Street in Glenview, Ill. The 75,882-square-foot center includes retailers Lalo’s Mexican Restaurant and Foodstuffs and is located across from Trader Joe’s, Staples, and Walgreens. The location is expected to open in early 2015. Mid-America Vice President Katie Hennegan and Leasing Representative Sarah Drumgould represented the landlord. Larry King of Metro Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant.
Deerfield, Ill. (Lake County) – Club Champion Golf signed a lease for 2,756 square feet at Cadwell’s Corners at the northeast corner of Waukegan and Lake Cook Roads in Deerfield, Ill. The 79,774-square-foot center is anchored by Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. The location is expected to open in January 2015. Mid-America Vice President Jaime Bertsche and Leasing Representative Maria Rossobillo represented the landlord. Keith Bank of KB Partners represented the tenant.
