Midwest Industrial Funds hosted a groundbreaking event on Friday, November 4, with their project team and local government officials for their latest Class-A development at 1303 Jack Court, Bartlett, Illinois, which is under construction and located within the Brewster Creek Business Park. Situated on a 26-acre site, the 400,112-square-foot building is being constructed on a speculative basis and is suitable for a multitude of uses, including distribution, assembly and manufacturing. The high-image pre-cast concrete and glass facility features 36-foot clear ceiling height, a cross docked configuration with up to 80 truck docks, 470 car parking spaces plus 115 onsite trailer spaces. The building is divisible and will be shell complete in Summer 2023. The site was recently acquired from Elmhurst Chicago Stone.
MIF Construction LLC is the design-build general contractor for the project with V3 and Partners in Design providing engineering and design services. The Lee & Associates team of Michael Androwich Jr., John Cassidy and Chris Nelson are marketing the building for lease or sale on behalf of Midwest Industrial Funds.
Bartlett Mayor Kevin Wallace spoke at the groundbreaking event as well and stated, “The Village of Bartlett is pleased that the great team at Midwest Industrial Funds recognizes the excellent location and welcoming business atmosphere that the Village Board and I have worked so hard to create over these past years. Just this past Tuesday night, we approved a property tax incentive that helps this project proceed with comparable taxes to similar buildings in surrounding counties. Once again, we are grateful to Midwest Industrial Funds for their significant capital investment and their recognition of Brewster Creek Business Park to successfully develop a new industrial building that will undoubtedly be home to successful and growing companies for decades to come.”
