Milwaukee-based construction management firm CG Schmidt has added Meg McKenna as senior relationship director of the firm’s business development department at corporate headquarters.
In her role, McKenna is responsible for establishing and maintaining key customer relationships to grow and sustain strong client services.
McKenna is an alumna from Marquette University, where she received both her undergraduate and law school degrees. After many years practicing civil litigation, McKenna and her husband started MilwaukeeMoms.com, an entrepreneurial online parent resource website inspired by the births of their two children.
In high demand and with a rapidly growing audience, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel purchased the website in 2006 and hired McKenna to represent MilwaukeeMoms.com and its interactive product line. McKenna joins CG Schmidt following 12 years promoting the Greater Milwaukee area as Senior Director of the Partnership Department at VISIT Milwaukee.
McKenna is active in the Milwaukee community and is a board member of the Westown Association of Milwaukee, co-chair of the Member Engagement Committee of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee, and a member of the Wisconsin Policy Forum’s Economic Development Committee. She has been an active member of the Wauwatosa community for many years and has two adult children.
