Minneapolis-based Opus names VP of construction

Opus has promoted Beth Duyvejonck to executive vice president of construction. In her new role, Duyvejonck retains responsibility for overseeing construction activities in Minneapolis and Des Moines and expands her duties to include driving operational efficiency in multiple regions and advancing the company’s strategic plan.

Duyvejonck has been with Opus since 1997 and successfully managed marquee projects, including 365 NicolletThe Nic on  Fifth, and several significant projects at the University of St. Thomas.

Duyvejonck has also spearheaded critical Opus initiatives such as the rollout of the company’s Integrated Design Services workflow, driven advancements in project performance and accountability through the scorecard review process, and mentored countless associates.

Duyvejonck holds a Master of Arts in organizational leadership from St. Catherine University and a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering from Iowa State University. She is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America, the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota, and the United States Green Building Council.
