Minneapolis-based brokerage Binswanger has been selected by recently earned a CoStar Power Broker Award from research firm CoStar Group.
This annual award recognizes the “best of the best” in commercial real estate brokerage by highlighting the U.S. firms and individual brokers who closed the highest transaction volumes in commercial property sales or leases for the entire year of 2011 in their respective markets.
All awards are based on transaction data maintained in CoStar’s commercial real estate database.
Binswanger qualified as one of the top commercial brokerage firms in Minneapolis based on total leasing transactions closed during the year. In order to be selected for this honor, Binswanger was evaluated against other commercial real estate brokerage firms active in its region by CoStar Group, and subsequently ranked among the top firms in the market.
Significant transactions closed by Binswanger in the Minneapolis market in 2011 included the sale of Cenveo’s 60,780-square-foot industrial building in Plymouth, Minn.; the sale of Webb Company’s 129,118-square-foot industrial building in Rosemount, Minn.; and two separate lease renewals of 65,000 square feet and 29,000 square feet of industrial space for IMI Cornelius in Osseo, Minn.
