One of Minneapolis-based Davis’ new developments has been named a winner in the HREI Insights Awards, an annual awards program that recognizes excellence in healthcare real estate development and executive leadership nationwide.
Davis received the award for “Best New Medical Office Buildings and Other Outpatient Facilities (25,000 to 49,999 square feet)” for the new two-story, 41,613-square-foot 610 Medical. The Class-A medical office building and ambulatory surgery center is in Brooklyn Park, a northern Minneapolis suburb.
HREI magazine executives presented the award to Davis on March 1 during the Revista Medical Real Estate Investment Forum in Bonita Springs, Florida. Stewart Davis, the firm’s Executive Vice President – Investments, was on hand to accept the award.
The project team and Allina/SCA pursued a comprehensive leasing strategy to attract additional healthcare tenants with complementary specialties.
Today, Allina Health, one of the largest health systems in Minnesota, leases most of the second floor of the new 610 Medical building for its surgery center. The facility also houses Allina Orthopedic Clinic and Minnesota Urology.
