Minneapolis’ Dougherty Funding has hired Murray Kornberg as executive vice president.
Kornberg has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, including more than 25 in real estate finance. He was the vice president at Minneapolis’ CSM Corporation, where he oversaw the sourcing of the company’s secured real estate borrowings.
For the past 13 years, Kornberg served as senior vice president at CBRE Capital Markets in its debt and structured financial group, which last year completed more than $38 billion in loan activity.
Kornberg has originated more than $3 billion in real estate financing transactions during his career.
