Minneapolis’ ESG Architecture & Design names new principal

Maria Ambrose

Minneapolis-based ESG Architecture & Design promoted Maria Ambrose to its team of firm principals.

Ambrose joined ESG in 1995 and became a firm partner in 2013. She has worked in the architecture community for more than 30 years, collaborating on innovative developments throughout the Twin Cities.

Most recently, she completed work on Tommie East Hall, a new Second Year Housing Building at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, which was just granted LEED V4 BD+C Multifamily Midrise Platinum certification, one of only six buildings of this type to achieve Platinum status in the world.

With her promotion, she is the firm’s second female principal.

The other ESG Firm Principals for 2021 include Aaron Roseth, Terry Gruenhagen, Gretchen Camp, Robert Loken and Burt Coffin.
