Minneapolis’ ESG Architecture & Design names three new VPs

Minneapolis-based ESG Architecture & Design has promoted Matthew Krueger, Laura Eder and Matthew Axtmann to vice president.

Krueger has been with ESG for 15 years in the role of director of design technology. His oversight of the company’s project information software allows the firm to create 3D visualizations and models that bring together data, drawings and schedules associated with the design and construction of each of its projects. He works closely with staff on creating efficiencies and finding creative solutions to problems, using advances in technology that give the company a competitive edge.

Eder moved from Dallas to join ESG in January 2019 as a licensed architect who attained the role of sustainable design director in January of 2020. Her leadership, accountability, problem-solving skills and wealth of technical knowledge make her an enormous asset to ESG’s projects, and she is an incredible resource for clients and employees, especially in terms of making ESG’s buildings more energy efficient and sustainable.

Axtmann joined the firm in 2016 as an architectural designer. His extraordinary design skills, which embrace context-sensitive design while pushing the envelope with expressive architecture, have helped propel ESG as an emerging leader in science and technology building design in the Midwest. These state-of-the-art research facilities are some of ESG’s largest projects to date. This promotion recognizes his strong vision, his clear and steady leadership, and his collaboration with the communities where we work.
