Bill Katter has joined Hempel Real Estate in Minneapolis to launch a new real estate development business as part owner, where he will lead the company’s development activities.
The new development business will leverage the legacy development activity and complement Hempel’s existing investment and management businesses.
Before joining Hempel, Katter spent two years at Interstate Development, where he remains an investor and will continue to run the firm’s 50th and France retail portfolio. Previously, he spent 18 years at United Properties, leaving in 2022 as president, and with a substantial list of accomplishments and award-winning projects in the industry. He has focused on the development and acquisition of industrial, office, housing, and retail assets throughout his career.
