Tim Carl is the new chief executive officer of Minneapolis-based architecture firm HGA Architects and Engineers.
Carl succeeds Dan Avchen, who served as the company’s chief executive officer since 1996.
Carl has worked with HGA for 17 years. He most recently held the title of design principal. He has led the design efforts for the University of Minnesota’s Norhrop Auditorium renovation, the expansion and renovation of General Mills’ headquarters adn the Nelson Cultural Center addition to the Swedish American Institute.
