IDS Center, Minneapolis’ most recognizable skyscraper, entered 2015 on a positive note, inking 321,049 square feet of new and renewed leases of Class-A office space. The building will also open a fitness center and conference center in March.
The 57-story, 1.4-million-square-foot office tower has leased more than 424,000 square feet to 55 tenants since its acquisition by Accesso Partners, LLC of Hallandale Beach, Fla., in April of 2013.
In the fourth quarter alone, leases covering 76,800 square feet were renewed.
New office tenants include Lazard Middle Market, which moved its headquarters from Capella Tower into 23,300 square feet in the IDS Center, occupying the entire 27th floor.
Last year, UBS signed a 30,000-square-foot lease and moved 100-plus employees from U.S. Bancorp Center to IDS Center’s 29th and 30th floors.
