Minneapolis’ Kraus-Anderson boosts its management staff

Kraus-Anderson Realty & Development Company in Minneapolis has hired management staff to support its growing portfolio.  Stefan Michno has been named director of development and Devan Post has been hired as corporate controller.

Stefan Michno

Since 2016, Michno has served as a senior project manager for KA Construction.  Michno joins KA Realty & Development to leverage his construction management experience development in mixed-use development, housing and hospitality projects.  Some of his noteworthy projects include Moment, a $66 million, 222-unit high-rise apartment tower in Minneapolis; and Omni Viking Lakes Hotel, a $98 million mixed-use development project in Eagan.

Michno received his B.S. in Civil Engineering and his MBA in Finance and Management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.  He is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and chair of its Community Enhancement Committee.  In addition, Michno has successfully developed relationships and generated new business with diverse and underrepresented business owners.  He works as a liaison with Women-Owned or Minority Business Enterprises (WMBE) to help them develop their business strategy and scale their business to have a more significant impact on the local community.

Devan Post

Post, a Certified Public Accountant, comes to KA Realty & Development from Wold Architects and Engineers in St. Paul, where she was an accounting manager.  She also served as a property controller for Angelo Gordon & Co. in New York, N.Y.  She will manage accounting and financial-related activities for the company, including strategic planning, compliance, and business strategies.

Post received her B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Isenberg School of Management.
