Minneapolis’ Kraus-Anderson Construction Company has hired Dustin Phillips as assistant project manager and Kara Ekholm as project engineer.
Phillips has been in the construction industry since 2006. Previously, he was a project manager for Miron Construction of Neenah, Wis., where he managed a 90,000-square-foot VA skilled-nursing facility in Chippewa Falls, Wis., and an MRI and plastic surgery remodel at Marshfield Clinic in Wausau, Wis. He is currently working on a 17,000-square-foot core storage warehouse in Ely, Minn., for Twin Metals Minnesota.
Since 2011, Ekholm has served as an intern with Kraus-Anderson. She worked on the Volunteers of America’s Nicollet Towers in downtown Minneapolis; Fountains at Hosanna!, a senior living
development in Lakeville, Minn.; and Valley Ridge, a senior housing campus in Burnsville, Minn.
She is now working on the Sioux Center Community Hospital in Sioux Center, Iowa.
