Minneapolis-based Kraus-Anderson Construction Company has been named construction manager for the new Cabela’s Outpost in Saginaw, Mich.
The 43,000-square-foot location is the 19th Cabela’s location built by Kraus-Anderson. It is expected to open in the spring of 2013.
The Saginaw Outpost is the third Cabela’s location in Michigan built by Kraus-Anderson, joining the Dundee, Mich., store, which opened in 2000, and the Grandville, Mich., store, scheduled to open in 2013. The Saginaw location will be located on Tittabawassee Road in the Saginaw Shopping Center.
The Outpost will feature dynamic wildlife displays, including a large mountain replica featuring North American game animals re-created in their natural habitat, a gun library, aquarium, bargain cave, boat shop and delis.
Kraus-Anderson last month announced that the company has broken ground on a new 80,000-square-foot Cabela’s location in Green Bay, Wis., scheduled to open in the summer of 2013.
