Minneapolis’ Larkin Hoffman elects new president

Paul Smith has been elected as president of Minneapolis-based law firm Larkin Hoffman. He previously served as the chair of the firm’s business litigation department, a member of the Board of Directors and as the firm’s general counsel.

Smith succeeds Bill Griffith, who was initially elected in June of 2012 and served six years as the firm’s president.

Smith represents a wide variety of businesses across the country, focusing his practice on commercial disputes, product liability, insurance coverage and construction litigation. He is deeply-rooted in the legal community and is active in a number of legal associations, including the American Board of Trial Advocates, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
