Minneapolis’ RoehrSchmitt Architecture adds principal of interior design

Stacy Holm has joined Minneapolis-based RoehrSchmitt Architecture LLC as principal of interior design.

This is a new role at RoehrSchmitt as the firm expands its existing interiors practice, while continuing its 15-year legacy of developing lasting partnerships and delivering design as a strategic asset.

Holm will lead the interior design process, managing and growing the interior design team within the studio. As part of RoehrSchmitt’s core leadership team, Holm will help to guide the firm toward future growth and success.

Holm brings more than 20 years of broad interiors expertise to the firm, and most recently led the interior design for Ecolab’s Twin Cities complexes, including its global headquarters, while at Alliiance. Other notable clients include Wells Fargo, Target Center, the Minneapolis Convention Center, WeWork, Boston Scientific and 3M.

Her experience in the furniture industry, including Staples, Interiors by Innovative and Room & Board, allows her to bring clients’ behind-the-scenes insight into cost analysis, product development, and supply chain / lead-time expectations, ensuring clients are provided a full-service interior design experience with a sensitive, practiced eye for the nuances of real life needs.

Holm’s design work and leadership skills are also informed by her role as small business owner — she is co-owner of a tree farm in Northern Minnesota. This dual role has shaped Holm’s perspective towards design, and provided a heightened sense of conservancy and sustainability.
