Minnesota IREM names Cushman & Wakefield official as president

Institute of Real Estate Management Minnesota has elected Cushman & Wakefield senior property manager Dennis Meadows as its 2018 Chapter President.

Meadows was installed as president at the annual IREM Member Celebration Nov. 9 in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Meadows was previously vice president of the Minnesota Chapter, and has served on the chapter’s Executive Council for the past four years.

In the president’s role, Meadows will advocate for ethical property management practices, maximized real estate value and superior management through education and training. The term lasts for one year.

“It’s a great honor to be elected the 2018 president of IREM Minnesota,” he said. “I will do my best to see that my property management colleagues throughout the Twin Cities and Minnesota are advocated for and given every opportunity to grow as professionals to become better property managers.” Meadows’ goal for 2018 is to continue to expand the brand awareness for IREM and the benefits for networking, education, and information sharing that is available to the members of IREM.

Meadows has been an employee of Cushman & Wakefield since 1996. His responsibilities include oversight of more than 1.3 million square feet of office, retail and industrial properties on behalf of institutional owners and entrepreneurial clients.
