The event starts with a look at the state of the housing industry moderated by Keith Collins from CBRE. Also sitting on this panel are Ryan Reed, CBRE; Justin Reed, CBRE MAI; and Mary Bujold, Maxfield Research.

Panels include a look at capital markets and financial solutions for student housing, challenges that colleges and universities face with housing and the future of student housing investments.

The event wil end with a panel focused on the steps needed to build a successful student housing project from start to finish.

Speakers throughout the day include Kelly Doran, Doran Companies; Matt Rauenhorst, Opus Group; Brian Thompson, Harrison Street Partners; Laurie McLaughlin, University of Minnesota; and Tony Carlson, Grandbridge Real Estate Capital.

A hot breakfast buffet will be served at 7:30 a.m. The event’s early-bird rate is $79. Starting March 28, the cost of this event will rise to $99.

Minnesota Real Estate Journal has applied for four hours of real estate and four hours of appraisal continuing education credits for this event.
