Richard Davis, chairman, president and chief executive officer of US Bank — and one of the biggest names in commercial real estate financing — will headline Minnesota Real Estate Journal’s Capital Markets Conference this April.
The event, held April 30 at Golden Valley Country Club in Golden Valley, Minn., will feature a close look at the health of the U.S. banking system, provide brokers with advice on using tax credits to help close real estate deals and highlight alternative financing for even the most complicated of real estate transactions.
Other sessions throughout the day will focus on real estate workouts, the long-awaited loosening of credit markets and investment deals.
Speakers at the half-day event include Patricia Gnetz and Dale Peterson, from US Bank; Robert Perry, Carval Investors; Jim Lockhart Wipfli; Andy Deckas, Founders Properties; Ian Harrison, AEI Funds; Dave Rasmussen, Grandbridge Real Estate Capital; and Erik Foster, Grubb & Ellis Capital Markets.

The event begins at 7:15 a.m. with registration, with a hot breakfast following at 7:30 a.m. The program will run from 7:55 a.m. through noon.
The early bird rate for this program is $79. On April 16, this rate will increase to $99. Four hours of real estate and four hours of appraisal continuing-education credits have been applied for.
