Bloomington, Minnesota-based Kraus-Anderson has formed Kraus-Anderson Development Company, a new collaboration between Kraus-Anderson Realty and Kraus-Anderson Construction.
“KA Development is a strategic move that will greatly intensify the cohesion and synergy among our realty and construction teams, which have been steadily responding to the market’s expanding and dynamic commercial real estate activity,” said Mike Korsh, who has been named president of KA Development, in a statement.
Backed by the resources of the Kraus-Anderson family of companies, KA Development will provide services in a variety of market sectors, including office, medical office building, hospitality, retail and multi-family housing.
The new entity has been formed as Kraus-Anderson prepares to consolidate its own Twin Cities offices and activities under one roof. Plans soon will be finalized to build a new Minneapolis headquarters office and redevelop the company’s current downtown block. Korsh is leading that high-profile development.
