Oscar Healy

Minnetonka, Minn.-based Opus Design Build, L.L.C. named Oscar Healy and Jim Caesar vice presidents.

Healy is responsible for leading design and construction in Kansas City and Caesar is responsible for leading design and construction in Chicago.

Healy has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career with Opus as a co-op student in Minneapolis in 1984. During his tenure in Minneapolis, Healy proved his abilities in project management, and in 2001, Healy was tasked with establishing and leading the design-build operations in the Kansas City market. Since that time, he has helped lead many local projects, including 51 Main, a mixed use project consisting of 173 luxury apartments just south of the Country Club Plaza; the new headquarters for AMC Theaters at Park Place; the new headquarters for Freightquote.com; and the Kansas Leadership Center in Wichita.

Caesar began working with Opus in 1996 and has led the design-build group in the Chicago office for the past five years. His ability to coordinate with Opus Development Company, L.L.C. has led to many recent successes in the Chicago market, including Arboretum Landmark, a 310-unit luxury apartment development in Lisle, Ill.; a food-processing facility for Fresh Express; and a build-to-suit warehouse facility for Maxzone Vehicle Lighting Corporation. Before joining Opus, Caesar worked as an associate project manager at Ben A. Borenstein Co.
