Joint-development partners, The Missner Group and Timber Hill Group, have completed construction at 1075 Chaddick Drive in Wheeling, Illinois.
The modern, 84,000-square-foot facility lies within the Northeast Cook County submarket of Chicago, making it eligible for Cook County’s Class 6B tax incentive status. The property features precast and glass elevations, ESFR fire safety system, 30-foot ceiling clear heights, ten exterior loading docks, drive-in doors and 99 parking stalls.
“We are pleased to have partnered again with our colleagues at Timber Hill Group on this Wheeling development,” said Barry Missner, CEO of The Missner Group. “The proximity of the site to O’Hare and the Interstate system, as well as its access to a skilled labor force and executive communities, make this a viable project for our portfolio and will make it an attractive option for an industrial user requiring a new, modern facility in a sought-after sub-market.”
Chaddick Industrial Center leased 64 percent of the total space to Hidden Valley Manufacturing Company during the construction phase of the project. There remains one non-divisible space in the building of 31,000 square feet. Brett Kroner, Keith Puritz, and Eric Fischer of Cushman & Wakefield represent ownership.
The Missner Group served as the general contractor for this development. The construction team included Ron Cinkus as senior project manager, Angelo Christopher as general superintendent, and Mike Sneddon as project superintendent.
