The transaction included a 10-unit mixed use building as well as an attached surface lot with 24 spaces. It was sold at 97 percent occupancy with many long-term tenants. According to Weinberger, the sale of the property, located at 18220 Harwood Avenue, carried out especially smoothly since the property owner conducted regular maintenance and handled lease renewals in a timely manner. The property’s central location also added to its appeal, as it is easily accessible by car or public transit, located 0.6 miles from the Homewood Amtrak Station and 1.5 miles south of I-294. “I enjoyed representing my client in the sale of his building,” said Weinberger. “Homewood is a booming town with a vibrant retail and restaurant presence.
