Molto Properties announced that Kevin Mohoney has joined the Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois-based firm as vice president, central region. Mohoney will focus on sourcing and executing new development and investment opportunities in the Central Region of the United States, markets including Chicagoland, Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Cincinnati and Columbus. He will also manage these assets throughout the lease up process and disposition.
Mohoney comes from Transwestern Development, where he spent five years on sourcing and underwriting new development opportunities in the Midwest, engaging capital partners, overseeing project development and leases, as well as managing disposition efforts. He has been actively involved in the successful development of over 4 million square feet of industrial projects. Prior to that, Mohoney spent several years working in finance for global investment companies.

Mohoney earned a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master of business administration with a concentration in real estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a NAIOP Developing Leader and National Forum Member as well as a ULI Associate Member.
