Chicago-based Development Solutions Inc., (DSI) announced an ownership milestone as Martin Moran and Jacob Karamol will join Daniel Mazeiro as majority owners and co-managing principals for the full-service construction firm.
Moran joined DSI in 1999 and was named Principal in 2008. He currently oversees the corporate interiors division and is considered an industry veteran when it comes to the innate understanding of the downtown office interiors construction management process. Marty is actively engaged in client relationships, ensuring all pre-construction, construction and post construction services are flawlessly executed to the client’s satisfaction. This dedication has been paramount for the company’s growth, whose repeat clients account for almost 90% of their business.
Karamol joined DSI in 2010. His extensive background in commercial real estate development and design-build construction helped launch DSI’s industrial division in 2015. In 2017 Jake was named Principal, leading business development endeavors for the company, while broadening the scope of their industrial services, a market that has shown continuous growth for the organization and their overall revenue. Industrial and design-build projects account for nearly half of the organization’s business generated today.
Mazeiro, Moran and Karamol will collectively oversee DSI, a firm that began as a two-person company in 1992 by Daniel Mazeiro and Craig Manske, who recently retired.
