Earlier this week, Crain’s reported that Olam International, a Singapore-based food ingredient supplier, has entered into a 15-year agreement to occupy 80,000 square feet of space at the historic Marshall Field Building in Downtown Chicago.
Represented by JLL Brokers Matt Carolan and Christine Bower, Olam secured this deal, while Jack O’Brian and JD Parcheta of Telos represented Brookfield Properties.
The deal will more than double Olam’s current office footprint, which currently spans 35,000 square feet at 200 West Jackson Boulevard, owned by Nightingale Properties.
Crain’s reported Brookfield underwent a significant renovation of the upper floors of the Marshall Building in 2018. Furthermore, in February, they secured a 31,000-square-foot lease at the same location with Indianapolis-based logistics firm, Spot.
