Between the great weather and excellent attendance, the 2015 CREW Golf Outing was a success. For the first time, 144 golfers were in attendance to the sold out event, which was held at The Glen Club on Sept. 1.
The event began at 10:00 a.m. with putting and driving range available for all beforehand, changing it up from the previous years. Lunch at the Half-way House followed, as well as some creative games including the group’s addition of ‘Beat the Pro’ with Emil Espisito, and ‘the hole-in-one.’ There were also giveaways and drinks from event sponsors on the course.
The event concluded with members and guests joining the golfers and some networking. Unlimited cocktails with appetizers were shared while prizes were awarded to winners of the Longest Drive for Men and Women, Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt, Low Gross for the winning team and Honesty Team Award.
Frank Gonzalez led the golf committee, Daniela Fitzgerald was co-chair and Marilyn Brooks, the CREW Board liaison, also helped.
