More than 200 attendees show up for the 11th Annual Chicagoland Property Management Conference

Just more than 200 industry professionals attended Illinois Real Estate Journal‘s early morning 11th Annual Chicagoland Property Management Conference Sept. 29, at the Drake Hotel in suburban Oak Brook.

From 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., attendees enjoyed refreshments and breakfast items while awaiting for the the first panel to kick-off the first discussion, State of the Market.

The “State of the Market: New Trends and Technologies in Property Management” panel of speakers included real estate experts Maureen Ehrenberg, with JLL, who served as the moderator; Michelle Panovich, Mid-America Asset Management, Inc.; T.J. Brookover, AmTrust Realty Corporation; Mike Groppi, CBRE; Steve Herron, Zeller Realty; and A. G. Hollis, Avison Young. Discussion took a look at smart buildings and management in today’s market.

Following a short break, the “In the Trenches: Choosing Vendors, Solving Problems” panel—consisting of moderator James Hochman, with Arnsteing & Lehr; Melissa Powell, Lee & Associates; Tom Civitanova, First Industrial Realty Trust, and Laurie Paquette, Starwood Retail Partners—took attendees through the critical process in property management like choosing vendors, providing amenities, and choosing vendors.
