CBRE Senior Vice President Dave Prioletti has completed nine deals totaling more than 450,000 square feet in the I-88 submarket in the first half of 2013.
The deals were:
- PanCal, 163,650 square feet, Butterfield Business Center, Aurora;
- PanCal, 88,900 square feet, Butterfield Business Center, Aurora;
- Globe Corp., 75,063 square feet, Cantera Business Center, Warrenville;
- Wolf Creek Associates, 35,228 square feet, White Oak Business Park, Aurora;
- AG Partners, 34,600 square feet, White Oak Business Park, Aurora;
- Globe Corp., 18,646 square feet, Cantera Business Park, Warrenville;
- ROC Companies, 16,400 square feet, Meadow Lakes Business Park, Aurora;
- Private owner, 14,000 square feet, Corporate Business Park, Aurora;
- Wolf Creek Associates, 13,900 square feet, White Oak Business Park, Aurora; and
- ROC Companies, 12,000 square feet, Lisle.
“The activity indicates a firming in the East-West Corridor’s industrial submarket, which has led to tenants taking a proactive approach to the shrinking supply of quality space. Vacancy in I-88 is at a 6.2 percent uncharacteristically low for this submarket with limited new construction on the horizon,” said Prioletti, a 28-year veteran of industrial brokerage.
