Morgan / Harbour Construction has hired Eric Schmidt and Terry Bryant as senior project managers. As senior project members the duo will be responsible for preparing conceptual, preliminary and final construction budgets as well as overseeing the entire construction process and managing the project team. Bryant will also serve as an estimator in his new role.
“Eric and Terry collectively bring more than 65 years of experience to our team,” said Morgan / Harbour President Warren Seil. “Not only will our customers gain from their industry knowledge and expertise, but our junior project team members will have the benefit of their mentorship and leadership.”
Schmidt joins Morgan / Harbour from IHC Construction Companies where he was also a senior project manager. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with more than 23 years of experience and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. He earned his Master’s degree in Project Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Schmidt currently resides in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Bryant brings more than 42 years of experience to his role at Morgan / Harbour. Prior to joining the firm he served as a senior project manager and estimator for IHC Construction Companies for 15 years. He has substantial experience in industrial and commercial construction as well as in the construction of educational facilities. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He has completed graduate level coursework at East Tennessee State University as well as training in public-private partnerships. Bryant currently resides in St. Charles, Illinois.
