Morgan/Harbour Construction has been selected for a 316,200-square-foot industrial build-out for a very long term tenant at 901 Bilter Road in Aurora on behalf of Liberty Property Trust.
The property is a 607,752-square-foot pre-cast multi-tenant facility that was developed in 2005. Liberty Property Trust, the building owner, has selected Morgan/Harbour to renovate its new location in Aurora within the Liberty Business Center. Construction for the tenant will include the build-out of 5,000 square feet of warehouse office, which includes a break room, six private offices and a large shipping office.
Construction consists of 4,000 square feet of design space and 20,000 square feet of office, which includes a large break room with vending, 20 private offices, two conference rooms, and a large open office area with cubicles. In the 287,200 square feet of distribution space, Morgan/Harbour will upgrade the existing lighting and dock levelers. Morgan/Harbour will also build-out additional parking for approximately 30 vehicles.
Ben Warriner, vice president of construction, is the project executive and John Becker is the project manager leading the construction team for Morgan/Harbour. Robert Papineau is the project superintendent for the firm. Architectural services will be provided by Kwasek Architects. Construction is scheduled for completion in summer of 2012.
