Morgan/Harbour Construction completed a 11,186-square-foot interior build-out for Evergreen Bank Group in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Evergreen Bank Group is a locally owned and managed full-service Illinois State chartered commercial bank. The firm hired MHC to complete the interior build-out for its new retail banking center in the Grant Square shopping center in Hinsdale. This was the third branch project constructed by MHC for Evergreen Bank Group, with the previous two located in the Chicago suburbs of Evergreen Park and Oak Brook.
MHC provided design-build services for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing components. The project also included a separate drive-thru bank facility within the center.
Natural finishes are showcased throughout including an abundance of wood, glass, metal and stone. Porcelain tiles with a wood look define the main traffic areas, while patterned carpet tiles are placed in the business spaces. Conference rooms and offices offer full visibility through floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and pendant light fixtures hang above the teller tower, relax area and Evergreen Coffee House. A vintage bank vault is also prominently displayed against a wood-clad wall in the main service area.
