Morgan / Harbour has been selected to construct a 15,072-square-foot office/warehouse for Kosmek USA Ltd. at 650 Springer Road in Lombard, Illinois. Construction is scheduled for completion in summer 2016.
The new facility will be comprised of 6,950 square feet of office space and 8,122 square feet of warehouse space for the firm, which is relocating from Downers Grove, Illinois.
Morgan / Harbour was selected to construct a new ground-up facility on 1.5 acres as well as a new retention pond and 40-vehicle parking lot. The precast, concrete and glass structure will include an office area featuring training classrooms, conference facilities, a showroom and executive offices.
The warehouse area will be designed for receipt of product, light assembly, distribution and storage. Upon completion, the facility will feature 20-foot clear ceilings and two exterior docks for deliveries and pick-ups.
The firm’s construction team will be led by Project Executive, Andy MacMillan, and include Marrico Crum as project manager and JL Callahan as project superintendent.
Cornerstone Architects is providing the architectural services and Colliers International’s Masuo Ishida, SIOR represented building ownership. Construction is scheduled for completion in summer 2016.
